Falmouth Highschool Land Acknowledgement Mural
This mural was created during a 2021–2022 artist-in-residence project at Falmouth High School, working with students from the Social Justice and LGBTQ+ clubs. The group developed the mural from concept to completion, researching local history and visiting the Wampanoag community museum to gather source material and receive guidance on the imagery. The project became the first in a planned series of murals for the school, centering land acknowledgment as a starting point for ongoing dialogue and visibility within the campus.
